Benefits

Manage medical insurance and employee benefits — policies, dependents, quotations, insurer integration, and endorsements.

Benefits manages medical insurance and other employee perks — from collecting quotations to enrolling dependents and keeping policies in sync with insurers.

Medical insurance policies

  1. Go to XO People → Benefits → Policies.
  2. Record each policy — insurer, class/tier, coverage, and renewal date.
  3. Assign employees to a class based on grade or role.

Dependents

  1. Open an employee → Benefits → Dependents.
  2. Add dependents (spouse, children) with their documents.
  3. Enrolled dependents are included in endorsement requests to the insurer.

Quotations

  1. Use Benefits → Quotation requests to gather insurer quotes.
  2. Screen and compare incoming quotations.
  3. Accept a quotation to move it toward an active policy.

Tip: keep quotation drafts in XO so renewals start from last year’s baseline.

Insurer integration & endorsements

  • Connect a supported insurer to push add/remove (endorsement) requests for new joiners, leavers, and dependent changes.
  • Track each endorsement’s status through to confirmation, and complete any payment steps.

Best practices

  • Process endorsements as part of onboarding/offboarding so coverage matches headcount.
  • Start renewal quotations well before the policy expiry date.
  • Keep dependent documents current to avoid endorsement rejections.

Troubleshooting

  • Endorsement rejected. Usually missing/expired dependent documents or mismatched Iqama data — correct and resubmit.
  • Employee missing from a policy. Confirm their class assignment and active employment status.
