Ads brings shoppers to your store — create and manage paid campaigns, sync your catalog to social platforms, and measure what converts, all from XO.
Connect ad accounts
- Go to XO Commerce → Ads → Connections.
- Connect Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Snapchat, and TikTok ad accounts.
- Install conversion tracking — Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) — so XO measures sales, not just clicks.

Social catalog
Sync your Catalog to Facebook/Instagram so products are shoppable in social and usable in dynamic ads.
Campaigns & audiences
- Create a campaign (objective, budget, creative).
- Build audiences — retargeting (cart abandoners), lookalikes, segments from CRM.
- Launch and monitor spend vs revenue (ties into Analytics).
Best practices
- Always run CAPI alongside the Pixel — it recovers attribution lost to browser limits.
- Retarget abandoned carts; it’s usually the highest-ROAS audience.
- Watch ROAS by channel and shift budget to winners.
Troubleshooting
- Conversions under-reported. Verify Pixel + CAPI are both firing and de-duplicated.
- Catalog not showing in ads. Check the social catalog sync and product approval status.
